Thank you for your interest in interning in the Office of Senator Roy Blunt.
An internship in the U.S. Senate is a fantastic experience that will provide a student interested in government and public service with the opportunity to participate in the legislative process and learn more about our democracy at work.
Senator Blunt believes internships are an interesting and fulfilling way to learn about the Senate from a unique point of view.
Senator Blunt’s Internship Program is available to undergraduate and graduate students interested in public service. Internships in Washington, DC, and all five of Senator Blunt’s Missouri offices are available for the fall, spring, and summer semesters, and in four-week increments during the summer months. Please complete the following application and have it returned to Senator Blunt's office no later than December 31, 2014 for Summer interns, May 1st for Fall interns, and September 1st for Spring interns. Internships are unpaid.
Because of the high volume of applications, the selection process is competitive and requires an interview, application, and essay. Application form is available below. We look forward to hearing from you.
