Senator Blunt Highlights Stone County Visit, Completes Second Tour Of All Missouri Counties

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) recently announced he has successfully completed his second tour of the state since being sworn into the U.S. Senate, visiting each of Missouri’s 114 counties and the City of St. Louis. Along his tour, Blunt visited Stone County, where he stopped at the Lakes Area Child Advocacy Center on February 8, 2014.

Blunt has made more than 1,000 stops meeting with Missourians in communities all over the state since joining the Senate. In April 2012, Blunt completed his first tour of every Missouri county. Click here for more information on Blunt’s county tour.

“Child advocacy centers across Missouri and the nation are vital to investigating and prosecuting child predators while providing essential services to victims and their families,” Blunt said. “I was pleased to visit the Lakes Area Child Advocacy Center in Stone County, and I’ll keep working to support the important work these child advocacy centers do to protect our children.”
