WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) released the following statement tonight regarding the passage of the free trade agreements with South Korea, Colombia, and Panama:
“The passage of these free trade agreements marks a great day for American job creators.
“I’m proud that Congress came together to pass these agreements tonight, which will help generate jobs and economic opportunities for farmers, manufacturers, and other businesses in Missouri and across America – without costing taxpayers a dime.
“I worked closely with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to reach a bipartisan consensus in order to move these agreements forward. I hope we can harness this momentum to work together on other critical economic issues facing America, such as reducing burdensome regulations, encouraging more domestic energy, and passing pro-growth tax policies.”
