June 13, 2019
WASHINGTON – This week, U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) met with students from Missouri who are in Washington to compete in National History Day. Blunt released the following statement after the meeting:“These students worked hard to have the opportunity to represent their schools and communities in one of the top history competitions in the nation. It was great to meet these young historians at the site where many of the most important chapters in our nation’s story unfolded.” Each year, nearly 3,000 students compete in 18 different categories in the week-long National History Day competition.
