WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) today released the following statement commending the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announcement that Brent Hampy has been selected to serve as USDA Missouri Farm Service Agency (FSA) Director:
“Brent Hampy has an extensive background in agriculture, including decades of experience with row crops and cattle operations in Missouri,” said Blunt. “Having served as Pettis County Commissioner and chair of the Pioneer Trails Regional Planning Commission, and as a Missouri Farm Bureau State Board member, Brent has a unique understanding not just of agriculture, but also how important transportation and infrastructure are to the ag industry in our state. I am confident that Missouri farmers will be well served by his leadership as FSA state director, and I look forward to working with him in his new role.”
