WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) released the following statement applauding U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue’s announcement that Richard Fordyce has been appointed to serve as the United States Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency (FSA) State Director for Missouri:
“Richard Fordyce is a fourth generation farmer, accomplished public servant, and respected agricultural leader. He has the knowledge and experience that will serve him well as the Farm Service Agency State Director for Missouri. As a transportation hub and national leader in the agriculture industry, our state is uniquely positioned to meet growing world food demand. The FSA plays a critical role by ensuring farmers have the support they need to continue producing and exporting products across the globe. I have no doubt that Richard Fordyce’s leadership will strengthen the FSA in Missouri and help keep our agriculture industry thriving.”
