WASHINGTON - Today, U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) met with Judge Amy Coney Barrett. Blunt previously supported her confirmation to the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and will vote in favor of her confirmation to the Supreme Court. 

Following Are Blunt’s Remarks at the Meeting:

“Judge Barrett’s been on my short list for the Supreme Court since the time she was confirmed as a circuit judge.

“Everything that happened in the hearing only intensified my belief that she’ll be a great justice on the Supreme Court and I look forward to supporting her next week and seeing her sworn in shortly after that.”
