WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) released the following statement after Southwest Baptist University (SBU) President Dr. C. Pat Taylor announced he will retire this year. Blunt served as president of SBU for four years and received his Bachelor’s Degree from the university.

“Southwest Baptist University and President Taylor have accomplished so much in his more than two decades of leadership,” said Blunt. “When the Taylors came to the university they dedicated themselves to it and the community in extraordinary ways. I count Pat as one of my closest friends and look forward to not only what he does next, but also what he does in his remaining months at SBU.”
