Highlights Role in Securing Increased Resources for Victims of Trafficking Program

WASHINGTON – During a Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation hearing yesterday, U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) questioned witnesses about federal and private sector efforts to combat human trafficking. As Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies, Blunt has secured a $3 million increase for the Victims of Trafficking program.
