WASHINGTON, D.C. – During the Senate Republican Leadership Stakeout today, U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) stated the nation’s defense is the number one priority of the federal government and discussed the importance of passing the Fiscal Year 2016 National Defense Authorization Act. Blunt noted that for 53 years, the Senate has passed a defense authorizing bill every year.

Last week, Blunt spoke on the Senate floor to discuss his amendments to the FY16 NDAA bill.
