WASHINGTON, D.C. – During the Senate Republican Leadership Stakeout today, U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) discussed the president’s upcoming State of the Union Address. Blunt addressed reports that the president will use his speech as a victory lap, noting that the president’s remarks will “ring pretty hollow” for many Americans who are not feeling safe or economically secure under this administration.
