VIDEO: Senator Blunt: The Senate Should Say No to WOTUS

April 21, 2016

WASHINGTON – On Thursday, April 21, 2016, U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) spoke on the Senate floor to urge his Senate colleagues to support an amendment to the FY2017 Energy and Water Development Appropriations bill, which would prohibit funds from being used for the president's burdensome Waters of the United States rule. Under the WOTUS rule, the EPA will have authority over 99.7 percent of Missouri, creating more permitting requirements for Missourians and stifling economic and job growth.
