VIDEO: Senator Blunt Votes to Override President’s Veto of Legislation Scrapping Disastrous WOTUS Rule

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) participated in a colloquy on the Senate floor today ahead of the Senate’s vote to override the president’s veto of a Blunt-backed measure that would stop the harmful Waters of the United States rule. Under the WOTUS rule, the EPA will have authority over 99.7 percent of Missouri, creating more permitting requirements for Missourians and stifling economic and job growth. Senate Democrats voted to sustain the veto, to the detriment of American farmers, local officials, builders, manufacturers, and property owners.
