WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, April 27, 2016, U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) questioned Secretary of Defense Ash Carter and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph Dunford regarding his Military Family Stability Act during an Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense hearing. Blunt introduced the bill in October. His Military Family Stability Act will provide more geographic stability for our military families, allowing children to finish the school year or a spouse to be able to start or finish professional or educational programs.
