WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, March 2, 2016, U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) questioned Ray Mabus, Secretary of the Navy, General Neller, Commandant of the Marine Corps, and Admiral Richardson, Chief of Naval Operations, during the Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense hearing. Blunt highlighted his efforts on behalf of military families through his Military Family Stability Act, and disscussed tactical aviation shortfalls and the ongoing need for Hornets, Super Hornets, and Growlers. As a member of the committee, Blunt helped secure funding in last year’s omnibus appropriations bill for seven EA-18G Growlers and five F/A-18E/F Super Hornets, which are manufactured in St. Louis, Mo.
